Avery is a digital artist, writer, and theatre producer. Their recent publications include: Stillborn in Apricity Magazine, Standing on Bus Chairs in 30 North Literary Review, The Death of the Sun in HCE Review, What Kills Us in Sand Hills Literary Magazine, and an excerpt of full length play She, A Rose in the Paragon Journal.

Avery received their Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Playwriting track from the University of Nebraska in January 2021.

Ride It Out 2019
August 2019 saw the World Premiere of Ride It Out. The production was done by The Theatre Viscera. A company that Avery co-founded. The play was housed at Portland area theater, The Headwaters.
